Over the past years, the Phokeethra Group has been actively participating in the Phnom Penh art scene through regular exhibitions within the hotel. Phokeethra Group aims at expressing its active investment and commitment to nurture the arts in Cambodia.

“The Long Eclipse”
by Channy Chhoeun

 

Born 1988, Battambang, Cambodia, Channy Chhoeun studied Arts at Phare Ponleau Selpak in Battambang and Graduated in 2013. In early 2017 Channy had his first show in Siem Reap, a near sell out exhibition and followed by his previous success exhibit back in 2019 at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra

“Element Of the Lotus ”
by Punleu

 

Ponleu Prom was born in 1994 in Siem Reap. He has a strong connection with the nature around him and his beloved country, Cambodia. His love for its countryside and the Khmer people is strongly represented in all his work. In his world, art is his only horizon. We welcome you to his world which is full of peace, freedom, and love. His new exhibition highlights the Four Elements of nature depicted with Lotus flower, echoing with Claude Monet’s “Water Lilies” period.

“Beyond The Eyes”
by La Mo

 

La Mo traveled to all corners of Cambodia, on his motorbike to unearth, document, and capture various aspects of Cambodian aesthetic: from people to religion, from rituals to tradition, from monument to the exotic species of plants, from performing arts to visual culture, and from the lowland to the highland cultural aspects with an attempt to picture Cambodia beyond Angkor.
