Calling all artists in Cambodia! We are thrilled to announce the launch of a national artistic creation competition in celebration of Cambodia’s 70th anniversary of independence. This competition is supported by Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra “THE GALLERY”, Le Lézard Bleu rue 240, and an assistant consultant for Cambodian painters.

The theme of the competition is INDEPENDENCE, in all its possible variants. We encourage you to let your creativity flow and create a painting or other tangible artistic creation that evokes this theme. There are no restrictions on the size or base material of the work.
The prize pool for this competition is $5,000, and winners can showcase their work at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra in January 2024.
To participate, register for free on the ‘Recreation’ or Sofitel websites from September 9, 2023, and submit a photo of your physical art creation, whether a painting, photography, or sculpture.
