Caring Beyond Our Walls

At Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, hospitality extends far beyond the hotel’s walls. We believe that true luxury lies in generosity — in sharing, uplifting, and creating meaningful connections that touch lives and strengthen our community.

For many years, we have proudly supported local organizations, schools, and social initiatives that bring positive change to Cambodia. Through art, music, and shared purpose, we continue to build bridges of compassion and opportunity.

Our partnership with Musica Felice has been one of the most cherished parts of this journey. Since 2017, Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra has opened its Grand Ballroom to host a series of charity concerts — including the 12th to 15th editions, and most recently, the 14th and 15th concerts, which together raised USD 17,600 in donations. These performances have supported inspiring institutions such as The Peace Center, Give a Hand for Hope, Sala Baï Hotel & Restaurant School, Tiny Toones Cambodia, and Project Khmer H.O.P.E.

In July 2025, we were honored to welcome Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco for their first-ever performance in Phnom Penh. The sold-out charity concert raised vital funds for the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation, reinforcing our belief that music has the power to unite and heal.

Beyond concerts, our commitment continues through partnerships that nurture social inclusion and skill development. We have proudly signed Memoranda of Understanding with the Ministry of Labour and BELTEI International University, creating pathways for vocational training, internships, and job opportunities, especially for people with disabilities. Through collaboration with NGOs like Krousar Thmey, we support job placements that foster empowerment and equality.

Our support also reaches schools and communities in need — from donating laptops to Passerelles numériques Cambodia to providing clean drinking water for local vaccination committees, offering carpets to pagodas, and raising funds for Kampuchea Sëla Handicap and Empowering Youth in Cambodia. Each initiative reflects our deep respect for Cambodian culture and our desire to give back with sincerity.
