At Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, generosity is more than a gesture — it is a reflection of who we are. Guided by our belief in heartfelt hospitality and responsible living, we continuously seek ways to support those in need and give back to the community that surrounds us.

Our partnership with ISF Cambodia continues to grow through meaningful initiatives such as the Soap for Hope Programme, where repurposed soap from our hotel is distributed to families in need. These efforts not only promote hygiene and health but also empower local communities through sustainable reuse. Over the years, we have donated soap, linen, newspapers, and magazines that are transformed into handcrafted souvenirs, educational tools, and essential supplies for underprivileged children.

In 2024, our Heartists from across departments joined hands to extend kindness where it’s needed most:
– The F&B Kitchen Team shared food with the Cambodia Cyclo Association, offering nourishment to hardworking riders.
– The Sales & Marketing Team provided food donations to the Orphanage Branch Center, bringing joy and comfort to children in need.
– The Front Office Team visited Horizon NGO, donating clothes, medicine, and essentials to support vulnerable families.
– The Recreation Team supported Paw Family Cambodia with food and recycled tennis balls, promoting animal welfare and sustainability.

Our support extends beyond people — it reaches the planet. Used oil is donated to NagaEarth to be converted into biogas, newspapers are recycled into jewelry by Friends International, and carpets and linens are repurposed for temples and schools, ensuring that every resource finds new life and meaning.

Each donation, no matter how small, reflects the collective spirit of our Sofitel family — a spirit grounded in empathy, care, and sustainability. Through continuous action and collaboration, we remain dedicated to building a community where kindness and responsibility go hand in hand.
