Urban & Rural is a new exhibition by Chhim Sothy. The exhibition explores the contrast between life in the city and life in the countryside.

Through his paintings, Sothy shows two different worlds. The city feels busy, layered, and full of movement, while the countryside feels open, quiet, and calm. Instead of painting exact places, he paints from memory and feeling, creating scenes that reflect his personal experiences.

Urban & Rural invites viewers to think about these two ways of life and how they connect. It’s a simple but thoughtful journey between noise and silence, fast and slow, modern and traditional.
